Flap Drive (Mar. 7th, 2004)

Got this flap drive from ebay (15 Euros plus shipping)

Previously my idea was to build my own drive using a cordless drillmotor, but this one is a professional piece of aircraft. The motor looks quite powerful and the brushes are like new. It came from a TB-10 (French certified aircraft). Unfortunately the spindle is bend and binds. Will see if I can get a replacement. Chances are not bad, because everything of the drive mechanism is metric.
