Mating the Fuse Parts (Oct. 3rd, 2003)
It's accomplished (and it's shining like a mirror), howeber this metal thing still doesn't look like an airplane. Visitors I tell it will be a speedboat or a submarine ;-))
The reflections above the "Experimental" logo is only a very faint distortion of the surface. The mirror-finish has a magnifying effect.
To my surprise the forward and aft parts really fit together (what I can't say to all parts I made)
The seat construction gives me a very fragile impression (Yes, I had a rtest sitting in it) however I doubt the construction will carry two heay-weights. Seem I have to have a diet soon...
This rear folding option is of my own.
During the cold winter months I'll take my Upholstery handbook, needle and thread and make a nice seat and back cushions. All other parts remain in plain macho-metal style.
